Founder/Creator of The Kaizen Letters and The Kaizen Tribe

Meet the FounderHey! I’m Pete,
the person behind The Kaizen Letters and The Kaizen Tribe.
My path has been anything but typical—starting out as a line cook, then diving into the world of tech as a network engineer, and now mixing that with my passion for endurance sports. Along the way, I’ve learned that the key to success isn’t flashy, overnight wins. It’s about showing up every day, putting in the work, and slowly but surely improving.
That’s why I started The Kaizen Letters. I wanted a place to share what I’ve learned about pushing limits, embracing the grind, and finding purpose in the process. The Kaizen PhilosophyKaizen is a Japanese term that means “continuous improvement.” It’s all about making small, daily progress—whether you’re working on your fitness, building a new skill, or just trying to be a little better than you were yesterday. For me, this philosophy is everything.I believe that real growth happens over time. It’s about making those tiny changes that add up to something big. Whether I’m training for a marathon or learning a new tech skill, the idea is the same: just keep improving, step by step. The Mission of The Kaizen LettersThe Kaizen Letters is my way of sharing what I’ve learned on this journey of self-improvement. It’s about finding strength in the struggle, pushing through the hard stuff, and using that to grow. I write about all sorts of things—endurance training, building a career in tech, staying mentally tough, and how to live a life that’s full of purpose and progress. The goal? To help you keep moving forward, no matter what life throws at you.The Purpose of The Kaizen TribeThe Kaizen Tribe is where the community comes in.
